lol, Brother if you want to make some great neutral spirits, I suggest you get away from them Turbo Yeast. I Suggest the following site for guidance:

http://distillers.tastylime.net...rror/Org/static_menu.htm

http://homedistiller.org/forum/index.php

http://www.artisan-distiller.net/phpBB3/

Take your time, study and read. Search before you ask and take a moment to read the rules at each forum.

All I make is neutrals. I run in pot still mode to do stripping runs & then I reflux distill my stripped spirits.

My personal favorite recipe is a modified version of Wineos Plain Ol Sugar Wash.

SEE BELOW:

This is for a 5 gallon wash. (20 Liter)
9 pounds of sugar{dissolved in hot water}
1 tsp of citric acid
2 Tbsp of DAP
1 tsp of gypsum
1/2 tsp of Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts)
1/4 cup (60 grams) of Red Star Premier Cuvee Yeast

Dissolve your sugar in hot water and mix until its dissolved real good.
Add the DAP, gypsum, citric acid and Epsom salts, and stir until its all dissolved.

Add this to your fermenter, and add enough cool water to make 5 gallons.

The starting SG should be 1070-1080SG. Don't go over 1080SG
(10% potential alcohol yield) for best results.

Check the temp, and once its 95f or under, sprinkle the yeast on top. Stir vigorously until yeast is dissolved in to wash.

Depending on the fermenting temp, this will work off in a week or two.

Let it finish to dryness, and give it another week to clear before running it or use a clearing agent like Sparkaloid."

500 MLs out of my PSII so far (tossing 200) and great news....It is clear! No blue. Stripping the first 5 litres today, will do the rest this week as time permits as mtnwalker suggested. How cool!
