"Well appreciate the tip on the cuts..the batch I ran just didnt seem to have many places to cut. After the normal dump of a half cup of fores it all smelled sweet up until the temps got uncontrollable toward the end at which point I switched to a new jar right quick and maybe caught a few tablespoons of tails.

Of course all the ethanol I produce is strictly for fuel use and no cuts what so ever are needed for ethanol fuel but if i did make cuts the final product would best described as smelling and tasting like the brand ""Ever Clear"", This is no coincidence though, because ever clear is 95%ABV ethanol.OhMyGod

"Robbie and Bayou!
I have first hand experience with this one! Totally correct on the turbo's. I thought it would be great to pump it up but my sugar wash tasted like crap.

I still have a couple of packets so I am thinking about putting them in my septic system! When I first started I was using plain old baking yeast and had much better results. I put the ""stuff"" on oak as long as I can resist and man what a great hooch.

I am a big fan of DWWG running it slow and wide. Take what I like and hold the rest.

Dave"
