"I think its a bit late to ask this question but I am new in figuring out what is the best column for my boiler but here goes. I have looked around the forum here and a couple of other ones and a couple of things I have not thought of until now. I ordered the Essential Extractor PSII- Column and not the high capacity one that it seems most are recommending. My thing is I do not have a powerful heat source which the HC column says is needed, with me it is not a time factor just a higher alcohol content once distilled. The column I have now is real small and to get better results it has to be ran a couple of times, why I upgraded to the Essential Extractor PSII- Column. Second is it that much of a difference in the two, from what I have seen in measurements is the HC is a foot taller, maybe more things different then I am seeing on the web sight.
The second thing, when getting the column only does it not have packing, the complete still has choice of packing and when I ordered the column there was no question about packing. Does anyone know if I need to get packing for the column only. Thanks for any advice or answers."
