Sorry I seen no introduction section so I'm just jumping in. Another sorry because I know there's probably a lot of these. But I figure for my first still I want to use a tea kettle. I can use it on the stove and I only need to make enough for me and my friends. I've been reading a lot on the internet which posed mo0re questions but I'll spread those out.

I was watching that Larry the cable guy show on History channel(not my first inspiration for wanting to do this) where a moonshiner was saying using steel or aluminum would make you go blind. But I figure with a tea pot, it couldn't hurt, making tea and shine is almost similar.

I figure I can attach a similar size tube to the pour spout and decrease it to the copper tube wind it and run it through a milk jug in the sink with the faucet on as water flow. Or fill it up with water and freeze it with the copper in it.

Forgot to add, they say to filter the stuff when you are done. Would one of those Brita water pitchers work?
