I'm not sure what you have been using but you will like the 3 inch. Enjoy the fruits of your labor :)

I never ran a 2", I went from a smaller homemade unit to the 3". It was a world of difference. I don't know how much difference you will see, let us know what you find out in the comparison.

hen i run the 2 inch rig i run it very slow. probably ablut 3 drops a second. i really dont intend to run the 3 inch muchfaster. i am just hoping for more reflux if that makes sence. scense--cents where is spell check??

I'm going to be doing pot still stuff for quite some time now. I havent run my potcheen ( irish moonshine)yet then i have 50 pounds of barley malt for my irish style whiskey. Some minor mods to the three inch tower are in the works i hope. It would be nice to connect the tubes in series with copper tubing and add a 12 inch section to the bottom to which i will attach a remote thermometer to pre warn me of approaching working temperature. This remote will allow me to manually or automatically switch from 220 volts to variac controlled 110 volts. Converting the mechanical relay that controlls the applied voltage to all solid state should be coming soon. All the parts are sitting in a box somewhere lol."
