I was reading over the specs of this column vs. the old PSII and could not figure out of there is a diameter difference in the column itself.
Are the differences solely the extra foot column and longer condenser?

I"m wondering if this column can fit on the old PSII drum.

Alex,

I have used the high capacity for the last 2 years, and I really like it. Its a 3' column. I bought a 2'X3' adopter from Rick so I could use it with a keg. That would work on your old keg as well. It works twice as fast as my sisters PSII. And I think a higher quality, as I can achieve total reflux at the start.

Alex, I use propane, a careful eye, and big fire extinguisher, that I've never had to use. Others, have just as good results electric elements.
