"Hi, I'm new here and have a question about the the gas tube connecting to the bottom of the burner plate on a Blichmann floor burner. Is it supposed to be loose from the burner plate or is it supposed to be tight against the burner plate?
Thanks"

should be a little snug but not real tight, you should be able to turn the air adjustment plate."

"Thanks Bayou, I guess I wasn't clear. The air adjustment plate is fine it's cast iron part under the burner thatattaches to it that's loose. Is it supposed to be that way? It has two allen screws that attach it to the burner.
Thanks"

"Thanks Bayou, I tightened it up just snug and cranked her up. What a difference there is between this and a turkey fryer.
Thanks"
