Has anyone ever used a brew belt to keep your mash up to temp while fermenting?

sure and you will too if you brew in the winter...let me add, I use a heating pad --you know for your back and that seemed to work fine too.

"I also use a brew belt in combination with a heating pad. Then i stick a thermowell into the bucket so that the probe from the ranco control can sense the temperature of the liquid. Winter is great for fermenting because with this combination. i can keep the ferment temperature at the low end giving me a nice slow ferment."

"I use the termostat because I like to try for 65 to 68 if the room is cold enough.
I think the brew belt was a good investment:)"

I've been using an aquarium heater. I got one that was rated for salt water and it's been working nicely so far.
