"i dont think that design is really much diferent from a pot still.
I believe that tripple distilling will give you the results you want."

"i just ran your figures through winecalk. 6 gallons of water with a target alcohol of 20 % requires 25.37 pounds of sugar. i hope others will check my figures:)
I like t0 run 17% washes wity ec1118 and a 7 gallon batch with a target of 17% requires 24.9 pounds of sugar((25 pounda)) I do a starter bottle alon with plenty of nutrients in the main wash and 1 hour of aeration to the main wash before pitching...
Slower cooler fermentation will give a better product as will slow distilling."

"Its for alcohol base that i use for a for diferent products. Yes i get a couple of gallons to dilute. I always ferment slow and run as slow as mud too. There seems to be lots of heads. I re run part of them and make a mock burbon and rye with some also. The hearts is for screwdrivers and ill try some gin this time. I have a lab still and a book that tells a method of making a gin escense. Sounds like it could be fun. The condenser is a coil type that i purchased because i thought it would be more efficient but it really should not be installed on an angle because liquid gets trapped in each coil. I have a regular liebig that works fine."
