Recently purchased PSII HC 8 gallon pot. Wondering if a typical BBQ propane tank will work for burner. If so how many runs do u usually get out of your typical BBQ propane tank?

Yes, it will be fine. I get about 7 or 8 runs from a 20 lb (typical grill size) tank. Once you get up to temp remember your gonna turn it way down so very little gas will be used at that time. I never let mine get real low cause I dont want to run out in the middle of a run..ya no what I mean????
