A question I already dont want to know the answer to...

"I moved. Now I have a 12'x12' two story shed. Best I can figure, I have a 4'x4' open space in the middle. Someone tell me I can moderately safely run a banjo and a PSII high capacity in there since I have a roof vent and 3 windows...
Right? Please?

I'd do it. If you notice fumes building up, then open the door a little.

"Really?!? WOW, I was worrying about fire hazzards. I am not to worried bout the CO2 it is well ventilated. Since it is a particle board floor (I neglected to mention that) I was going to build some sort of particle board with fire tile on top to set the banjo burner on. The blowouts and blow ups were the cause for concern...
Thoughts? Anyone tried something like that?"

The tight 4' x 4' space, an open flame and particle board floor would make me uncomfortable ... especially if I was collecting high % alcohol ... regardless if the space was well ventilated or not.

"Particle board?  Anything else about the set up that's highly flammable? I guess the logical question is: after taking reasonable precautions, could you be comfortable with the set up? If not, then you have your answer."

i have 4 12" ceramic tiles arranged in a 2x2 square that are 4 tiles thick i use propane on a linoleum cover floor in my shed.. never gets hot after hours of use even use it for my turkey fryer. the 4x4 space would have me worried tho

any of you boys (and ladies?) who distill some water indoors (home, garage or shed) mind to post a picture or 2 of your indoor setup? If you dont feel comfortable with posting them on the interweb, I'd still love it if you would PM me a picture of your indoor setup.

I'm in an out building with a cleared space about 6' x 6' and use a concrete board I bought at Home Depot for $10.00. I cut it up into 4 pieces and stack them on top of each other for the propane burner. I also keep a fire extinguisher handy. Keep my collection jar in a pot with 1" of water in the bottom of the pot in case of overflow or tip overs. Works fine for me.
