What a day. Running my last batch of cornmeal sugar wash so I get things fired up and hit the water and I am leaking in two or three places. Shut it back down tightened hoses..replaced one crappy clamp..and now it looks like its trying to leak out of the plastic packing nut on the water control gizmo. I tightened it up and it dripped bigger. Got all the leaks stopped cept that one. Figgered out quick with the ball valve control you dont need near as much water. Counting all that not cycling through the condenser constantly makes much more available to control the column. Have collected about 2.5 quarts nice looking clear stuff as we speak..not counting half a cup of foreskins.and its still dripping. Bound to be in the tail section I think..but the temps aint rising. Smells weak..no dirty socks or dogs.. Big thanks to Bayou for suggesting the ball valve and thank to Scotty for suggesting the double reflux after grabbing the fores. I tried to do that and refluxed at least 170. May just snag another ball valve and chunk that leaky plastic gizmo in the trash. Now it do not fit the existing hoses snugly. Very sloppy fit.

PS Edit: Well I took the big plastic leaky nut off the top of the water control valve today. Noticed the Teflon tape looked a little scraggly on the threads. Used up all my mechanical aptitude and a little of the tape which I happen to stumble over the other day. Not sure why I had it. Anyhow I have high hopes the leaky biotch to do not spurt from that place again.
