Its late, im tired and so i apologize if i have missed it. But i have been going over all the forums and it seems people are recommending against turbo yeast because of possible off flavors associated with it. So if i dont use turbo, is the yeast at the store in the baking section going to be ok? i think i understand it will not yeild as high an alcohol content before dying. If not that yeast, people are referring to 1118 and 1116. can that just be found at a brewing wine making store? Are there any recommended web sites to purchase yeast, what kind should i get then? I am trying to get all my ingrediants lined up. thanks J

EC1118 can be found at most of your wine making shops.

flipskid... Ive tried the yeast you mentioned and had good results with each, none are wrong or terrible, some are easy to get and some have to be ordered. Some taste like bread and some taste like nothing. Try each of them and take notes to your likes and dislikes and the rest is up to you. Try em all I say cause what I like you might think is shitty.
