Wanted to see if anyone knows if there are any issues with Brewhaus concerning orders in the last 5 weeks or so. I placed an order over 5 wks ago, left phone messages 8 days ago, sent an e-mail recently, and cannot get a reply from them. I know they are busy and they told me a few weeks ago my order would be delayed but should ship in two weeks but nothing has happened and I cannot get through to them-phone is literally busy for hours at a time. I am a little concerned about my order and wanted to know if maybe they went out of business or something. I hope everything is ok but would like to know if anyone knows anything. Thanks.

We are alive and well. The phone being busy all the time we are having to deal with. Have you left a message, as I believe that everyone has been called back, and left a message if we could not reach you. I am also working to catch up on e-mails, but so if your e-mail was in the last 3-4 days you may not have received a reply yet.

"Due to a huge surge in people interested in getting a still and making alcohol brewhaus as well as the other players in the distiller game have been slammed with business.
Its a great thing for these entrepreneurs in the distiller market but it can be aggravating for the typical anxious excited customer who can't wait to see those precious first drops drip from the condenser." |

Just a warning. I placed an order and it was sent via USPS. The post office had it sitting in the corner for three or four weeks!! When I went down to ask about it, they said that they had forgotten about and that it was too big to bother with. Don't use USPS!! the money spent for UPS or FedEx is worth it!

I did the same, got worried about my order. Everything came through just fine, a little late but it got here. The quality was worth the wait. You made the right decision going with BH."

Yeah, I ordered my PSII HC and the Gold Starter Kit a few days ago as well. I can't wait. I see that the Whisky Yeast is not available. Is that a problem that's going to clear up soon?

Not sure how far apart them two things are from being the same. There are some special Whiskey yeasts but what you are talking about I'd say they are one of the same."

If you are going to use yard fertilizer make sure it doesn't have any bug killer or moss control in it. :) If I didn't have any regular yeast nutrients I'd use Miracle Grow."

It would seem to me it would be wise to hire an extra person to accomodate customers calls rather than leaving a message to be get a return call posiibly when the customer isnt there or has already purchased elsewhere. This was my situation with Brewhaus and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I did purchased esewhere but perhaps Brwhaus had enough business already anyway.

Well first I really dont want to discuss all the details about my purchase as I dont think its necessary or productive. And yes I do have a HC for resale/not peddling, that is unused. I really dont care if its sold here or not. I thought maybe someone here might want to save a few bucks and waiting time on the item rather than me putting on Ebay. You interpret post anyway you would like my friend.

We considered hiring someone just to handle calls, but ultimately it would be nothing more than a live answering machine as nearly all calls require someone with knowledge to answer the questions. We have done this before, and it results in customers complaining that the person answering the phone was not knowledgeable, and was unable to help. And, finding someone with extensive knowledge in a small industry like this is no easy task.

"I will say that I too got the voice mail when I called, so I took a deep breath and left a message...thinking this will never get returned. I wasnt ready to buy, but getting close, and I had a few questions to help me decide where to buy. I prowled around on the web, and called another manufacturer....and got THEIR VOICEMAIL TOO! I didnt leave a message, just hung up.
The next day I got a call from Brewhaus and spoke with Rick about 30 minutes. He was very polite, answered all my stupid questions, didnt put me down or sound annoyed that I was asking so many questions, (which is what happened when I talked to one supplier someone on here suggested). Overall it was a wonderful experience which pointed me in the right direction, and ultimately lead me to buy their PS II HC 15 gallon unit.
They said there is a 2 week backorder on all ""essence"" machines, and its gonna be 2 weeks tomorrow, so I'll be sitting by the mailbox waiting for my postman to show up!!!
I will agree with admin that what aggravates me more than a voicemail is talking to someone who has the ""walmart"" attitude....""dude i dont know, i just work here"". So I for one would rather wait and get a call back by someone who can actually answer my questions. My 2 cents"
