"just did my first batch of dandilion wine and it turned out great heres recipe i used
1 gal loosly packed dandilion (yellow petals only)
5 gal water
5 tbsp cloves
5 cups sugar
1 pint honey
dash of cinimon
take petals and 1 gal water set in crock pot with petals waited about 1 hour and added the sugar honey cloves and cinimon leave overnight on low

not really neccesary but i strained the petals out and repeated with second gallon of water for a few hours
then mixed all together and added one pack of cheap champagne yeast
let set about 1 week then strain out the majority of petals and let set 2 more weeks

finally bottle and enjoy sipping some now and am so happy with what ive made by taking 20 recipes and switching and adding ingredients soon i will be making dandi brandy out of a few batches god himself couldnt make a finer batch of wine (imo)"

Sounds good. I had a recipe for dandelion wine out of an old cook book. Never did bump into enough dandelions to make any,.

Ahhh smart thinking. Not sure we allow any dandelions to grow in our yard. I will check with the Warden about that.

Ok will keep my eye peeled for a likely looking field. I got a house of for sale across the street which sure needs the grass mowed. Maybe I will nose around over there. Thanks. Sorry about the mower. I need a new one real bad just too cheap to buy one when the one I got is still working...somewhat.
