"I am thinking about using tomato paste and sugar wash for the very first (throw away run)
10 lbs Sugar (dissolved in hot water) 6oz tomato paste (Yeast Nutrient) 1 Tbsp DAP (Optional but Recommended) 1/3 cup bakers yeast (2 2/3 ounces)
This seems to be about the easiest and cheapest wash I have seem, any other comments or opinions? Thanks"

Great recipe for a neutral. Only change I made was a Tablespoon of Distillers yeast subbed out for the bakers yeast which seemed to work just fine. Made for a stronger wash...which bound to be a stronger finished product and no off flavors etc. Now I was a real bad boy and broke the rule about throwing out the sacrificial run. I dumped it in the next finished wash and run it again and started sippin. It will prob be unhealthy in the long run..so kindly dont try it. Takes a real cheapie skate to do that kinda dangerous stuff.

"Yeah I may have kinda done the same thing on my first rig...I rinsed it with water a time or two, but first spirit run got mixed in and re run. I just got a shipping notice on my BH setup and its on its way! I figure I'll do this one as right as possible from the start. I have one last bunch of misfits (heads, tails, and experiments gone wrong) to run through before I switch over. Thats the one really cool thing about this hobby...you can try almost anything and if it goes wrong or not as expected, just rinse and do over! What kinda ABV wash did the distillers yeast give you over bakers yeast?"

Well why dont you just combine all that stuff and mix it with water and do the sacrificial run? If it looks drinkable go give it to the neighbors riight quick. Watch them for a week or two to make sure they dont come down with the old Jake Leg ailment..Green Apple Quick Step or the Collie Wobbles. I can see some bright possibilities on this deal.
