See http://homedistiller.org/equip/notstill/freeze for some discussion on freezing.

In particular, read what Ups474 says near the bottom of the page about volitiles staying behind using the freezing technique.

Normally, we want the distillate to be slightly warm when it comes out, to help vaporize some of the compounds we do not want.

"I have a couple fermenters, so I do this when I make a sugar-neutral wash. My Kettle is 8 gal...so I freeze 2 5 gal washes in gallon milk jugs...let them thaw slightly and collect the melt as stated in the home-distiller article. Get maybe 6 gal of melt (jack) and distill that. Get great yields LOL around 3+ gal of hi abv.

But, I'd get the same out of 2 distillation runs. Great for the ego I guess but all things considered ya don't gain much other than a bit of savings on propane and time"

Well this was boys afternoon out today. Not sure what is the subject matter at hand. Fortunately I did run into a fella a short while ago who is willing to trade some loco weed for shine. What a deal huh? He say it has red hairs. Let me know what is a Mother to do. Thanks. I would not like to go blind or insane etc.

I tried to answer back on this once but guess the space aliens swiped it again as normal. Now this is supposedly some prescription grade stuff from Texas's most North Western County aka Colorada. I might consider giving him an extra half pint since it has red hairs and them are good as far as I can decipher this bizness. Do anybody know any hiippies who might have some A kay forty sevens to trade? Kindly let me know. I do not like to break the barter deal.

They are about as common as cat hairs in my compooter fan gizmo. The Hindu cyber guru always nags about the putty tat dander for some reason. I thinking he thinks they are kin folks for some reason. How many would you like? What brand? How much greenbacks do you got? Enquirening minds needs some input on transactions like this. Have you checked with Scotty? I would not minds having a Fazer..now the tramsporter is super cool too. If someboy draw down on ya just tell Scotty to beam you down a 1911. Sounds too simple..lol.

Dont think SW makes any 1911 clones..or havent bumped into one personally anyway. Kimber makes a real good one but very pricey. Also Springfield Armory..and notice even Sig offers one. Desert Eagle has em too. They have a very good reputation as far as I know. It looks like Cheaper than Dirt is cheaper than Cabelas.

The doughnut munchers in the adjoining bailiwick carry 1911's. Must be either a Kimber or a januine Colt. Not sure I would like to see the price tag on one of them puppies. You got any rough beer joints in your area? That is always a good place to buy guns reasonable. One time whilst quaffing a few at just such an establishment..some old boy on the far end yell out..Anybody want to buy a gun? I holler back maybe. He passes the gun down the chain of the occupied bar stools to me. Few more hollers and passed two twentys back to him. Real nice little shootin iron. Sure the rightful owner missed it a lot..lol. Thanks for the correction on the SW model 1911 Outland. I quit keeping up with gun stuff many moons ago..as you can tell..lol.
