Yeah, I have the 110 volt version of that unit on my still. Got it from Amazon for $55. http://www.amazon.com/RANCO-ETC...eywords=ranco+etc-111000 It's really nice to watch the temp come up and not have to wonder what the still is doing. However, the unit has a shortcoming. It either has the power on or off, nothing in between. If you already have a router speed controller, you should be able to put it between the Ranco unit and the boiler and finesse your heat input.

I'm planning to make it a permanant fixture on my hot liquor tank now under construction. I use a pid on my still. Well i use a relay that switches from 220 to 110; and a router control in the 110 volt line."
