Greetings everyone! Sorry... I've been unavailable to be active on the Forum since we ran our first batch...Success! Thanks to all that helped! Now,...Here's my question. Are there replacement caps available ,plastic with seal or metal, for a standard screw top beer bottle ,like a miller, bud, etc,. I have an almost endless supply of these type beer bottles ,friend owns a club, and I would love to use them for handing out samples; smaller quantity...very little cost. The original caps can be reused...but they are a little hard to work with if you're not used to screwing them back on. Need something easy to screw on and off. I have seen caps advertised that fit the beer bottles that are sold through home-brew supply houses... but I'm just not sure if they'll fit So again... Anyone know of a replacement cap for a standard beer bottle? Thanks! Travis

Travis, some people reuse the twistoff bottles, but they dont seal as good as the non twist kind.Do you have a capper? If your friend serves import beer, have him save those bottles.I use corona, sam adams, any kind that takes a standard cap. They seal better.Ive got 15 cases of them, mostly corona{no labels to remove}.You can try the twist off kind, but they break real easy, and I wouldnt trust the seal, for long term storage. wineo
