Has a sloppy auger which is the same problem suffered by most other similar chicom imports. Its for sale by the way. I have got way too lazy to make sausage. Shipping weight 90 lbs. Not counting the packaging.

OK on 1 hp model. Usually a #22 head if im not mistaken. You cant go wrong with that one. I didnt understand that you alread had a real meat grinder."

Yeah the KA fiasco was from another time frame..lol. I bet your right on the numbers. Thanks for the correction. There was a whole bunch of us old bbq sausage making crowd who bought the same gizmo at the same time. Everybody bragged on it unmerciful and didnt have any doubts on mine...till it dawned on me you cant double grind something of the same dimensions. The yankee I talked to in Wash..but he was originally from Chicago or somwhere like that say..its a sloppy auger. Hobarts run it through as much as a person might like using the same plate. With this one you can only go down. Could that be normal maybe? One fella took his to the machine shop and had the shaft cut down so he could use the commercial knives.

"I had the crank handle extended 4 inches. The last 25 pound batch was just too much.
