Put my first mash together on Saturday night, 5 lbs corn, 4 cups all bran, 10 lbs sugar. Haven't had the nerve to look until today. So I go look. Bubbling away happily and smelling like beer! LOL! From what I understand, this is a good sign. Hopefully do my first pot still run this weekend. I'll keep ya updated!BigGrin

Using a 6 gallon food grade canola oil pail :) It's my first attempt at anything like this, so I wanna try the "cheaper" route to start off with. Haven't built my still yet, gonna pick up the hardware on Saturday and build it.
