Best of fortunes with the mod. I did mine myself and it seems to work ok. Watch the little legs and see how they fit. They are combo legs and spacers which support near all the combined weight of the gizmo. I still sag on one corner cuz I didnt get it back in there right.

I already modified my 1500w hot plate. I am curious is it dangerous to have it on full voltage when i am trying to get it to its boiling point?
