I have a wash that has been fermenting for 7 days now and still bubbles 1-2 times every ten seconds. The recipe called for 5-6 days and was wondering if I should distill it anyway or just let it go? Can you distill to early or to late?

It's a cornmeal sugar wash with regular store yeast.. I'm can just hardly wait to run it but I guess I need to hold off a little longer. It's a small batch just 2 lbs sugar and 2 gal of water.

When did you start it and where is it while fermenting?? (( environment/temperature))

I do not I'm planning on purchasing one. It's fermenting in the garage hasn't moved or been tampered with. The temps range from 70's to mid higher 80's.

Your temperature is definitely not hindering fermentation. Good idea on purchasing the tripple scale hydrometer--they are the most valuable of tools in our hobby. Type "wine calc" into your search software and down load the free software which contains many calculating and converting devices. I've been using it for years, It is especially good for telling you how much sugar to add to water to get a desired potential alcohol.
