"Hi, new guy here. Been reading for some time and wanted to join in. Lookin forward to building my first project. Got a little machine shop experience and some tig welding under my belt and want to use it. Lots of good ideas floating around here. I'm retired and have pleanty of time on my hands. Glad to be here. Where should I go to learn more about building a column similar to the hillbilly flute. I interested in whats inside the column, how the plates are made, etc.

Hey thanks. Maybe I like to see the bubbles, I don't know still getting into this. I just found out that old dog has a tutotial on building sight glass I need to check out. When I get going I like to post build pics. You guys are pretty good. Too bad all this is just for "fuel"
