No question is dumb. A question promotes learning.

I believe basic shine is corn likker.
Mostly corn with some barley to cause conversion.

You really should tell us about your equipment and any type of brewing you may have done please

OK I've got a Essential Extractor Pro Series II Complete Distiller!!! This is all new to me!! I just want to make a real good moonshine recipe!!
Yep this is on my Bucket List to do in life! So any help is truly welcomed!!!!!!

What size is your boiler and what size fermenting bucket do you have? :)
