I have fermemented a 15 gal batch of molasses. I used the turbo from brewhaus.
Can anyone tell me if I should let this clear.
I do not know if it even will clear. It is still working a little 10 days. It did form a head and fell. It is still however bubbling.

Will the molasses mash clear like a grain mash or will it stay dark brown and be dark brown when I put it in my boiler.

Should I just put it in my boiler and run it when it stops bubbling.

Hey WATCHTAKER, I just finished distilling
5-gallons of wash using this same recipe and it took about 10-15 days ,I didn't write it down, sorry, for it to finish completely. At any rate, I had no problem running it through my 'Pot' and boy, did it ever proof out high! Whooee! I was careful though, not to overfill my Pot when I ran it and I watched it closely for any problems, but none occured and I got a super product!

Don't mistake clear for colorless. While I would suggest clearing the wash so that there are no remaining suspended particles such as spent yeast, you will still remain dark brown.

Rick, you are right! After some 15 days of settling, my wash still looked brown, even after I used the clarifier that came with my 'Turbo' yeast. But it cleaned up the wash ,there was almost no particulate left suspended in the wash, and even though the wash still retained a fairly dark color; the end product was nevertheless fantastic! I will do this again ,and again, and again,!
Thanks, Spiritmaker
