made gerber wash today. when i run this i assume i should use pot still instead of reflux.if i did use reflux it would not retain flavor. im i correct??????????????

Yup. If you run in reflux real hard and fast it will smear the heads and tails across the whole run and then retain some flavor. BUT, if you want good cuts and retain flavor run it slow in the pot still.

This is a neutral so either is fine --- although this does have a faint flavor that is quite likable so try both."

It is nothing that you did at all. We have had a real issue recently of a member hijacking threads and causing precisely this to happen. As Bushy and Heeler have both expressed, if you are aiming for a neutral spirit then run in reflux for high purity and to reduce any congeners. If you want to carry some flavor then pot distill and make careful cuts. :)
