have an old stainless keg i want to make a pot still head out of copper. looking for best price on sheet copper 22 to 24 ga. in south east and prefur 110 sheet. thank you for all imput

give us some leads as to where you have looked and what prices you have found. ill bet others are wanting this info too. :)

Not knocking you just wondering. You can use 2"" copper to make a tower and connect that right to the keg. Sorry I dont know where to buy sheet copper but I'm sure you can. I would have to say 2"" copper as compared to a sheet of copper would be worlds apart in price --- the 2"" being much more affordable. How will you connect the head to the keg, just the same as a tower??? Thx just being nosey."

Hey Yeah Yeah, don't know where you found that price but they sell 0.062 CA 110 12"X18" for $54.00. That's twice as thick as what you bought for about twice the price.

OOPS, Sorry YeahYeah, your right about the cost of the 0.032 sheet, and the 0.062 sheet for a 12"X24" is $62.00.
I'm still looking for a good resonable priced source for copper sheet and plate.

I'm still looking for a good resonable priced source for copper sheet and plate. .032 was what he was asking for, 22-24 guage. What are you looking to build? I bought a sheet of 32 from amazon plus a bunch of 4""x4"" sample packs to build my bubble plate flute. The sample packs were about half the price that they are now though. I am using the 62 thou squares from sample packs for my plates. The 32 warps quite a bit if you braze it(food grade silver solder obviously), but i used it anyway for my deflagulator plates. Not enough 62 to go around.lol"

Looking to build a bubbler also. Have'nt decided on useing 3" or 4" yet. Still trying to find a source for some of the materials.
Ca 110 is 0.062.

Ca 110 is 0.062. Cool i went with 4" using 304 stainless for the column. Not sure what you mean by ca 110 is .062. Ca 110 is the grade of copper. Its available in all sorts of thickness'. http://www.ejbmetals.com...ts-metal_strip/Ca110.pdf
