Spiritmaker, This last fruit harvest I had my arm in a cast so did not produce any wine/booze nor did I harvest fruit or grapes. I am going from memory on the year before but I seems like it wasn't any longer than two weeks. When I make a drinking wine I use different yeast as such I don't recall the flavor of the distallate. Next harvest I will research that a bit more. Sorry, not much help.

We do put a complete additive package together when people are interested, which contains everything to convert your wine to a one week process. I do not recall the exact price, but I believe it is in the $4-$5 mark, and is sufficient for 23L.

Rick, could you please give me a little more info on this 'additive package'? I'd like to know the name that you market it under, maybe even a little data as to what's in this yeast/combo. If I knew where to find it listed on your site I would order some. I have reviewed most of the things you list, but I didn't see this; maybe I just overlooked this item though. It sounds like a great idea for quickly producing a 'stock' from which to make brandy! Thanks for the info.

Actually, this is a specialized add-pack that we do not currently offer online. We tend to build them for some wine kit suppliers, but have not done so to this point on an individual basis. We would be happy to do so, but I think that it is best done directly, so as to not bother everyone with copies of our e-mails back and forth.

OK, so if I e-mail you directly I could get more info? Consider it done.
Thanks,
Spiritmaker
