can anyone tell me if they've had problems sealing a milk can? I've just purchased one and it seems to seal itself quite well, I just wonder what will happen when I get it up to temp. I cringe thinking about a steam leak.

Patrick, Don't worry about it, it is not going to get that hot to produce enough pressure to put the steam out. 78 degrees c and no steam, if it seals now, no sweat.....Jimbull

cool, can't wait to try it! if only I could find time to build it. probably in mid-Jan. Every time I walk past that big shiny can and all that copper pipe my mouth starts to water for the taste. As police chief Clancy Wiggums said ' There's nothing like moonshine from your own still.'
