The insulation is sticky back and sticks nicely to a clean smooth pot--i do the lids too

I buy it at home depot. The roll is about 12 inches high i forget how long. I have been using it on all my pots, my still boiler and i happen to be a fan of insulated towers too.
The pot on the right is the one we just did

My still boilers have 2 layers on them. Sometimes i need some duct tape to keep the insulation on the boilers.

The dispensing attachment for the corney keg leaked. we ended up pouring the root beer into 2 liter bottles. i went to barrys brew shop in philly and purchased a few new parts to do the repair when i get back to florida.. Also purchased a sangeovese wine kit. i originally went in to purchase 3 racking tubes-- i spent over $100 yikes lol

Scotty, this might be old, But I would not use that aluminum pot, the beer will have a off flavor. When I started brewing with extract. I went to WM and picked up a 3 gallon SS pot for $26 and used my kitchen stove. No spiggot needed just a funnel. I always topped off the carboy with cold water to equal the 5 gallons. It also cooled the wort to the 70*f mark to add the yeast. I now have a 12 gal brewery and useing all grain. Im sure its the same as distiling once you start, you end up going nuts.
