Hello!
I want to try the amazingstill, but I'd like to know, about the actived carbons filtering, is it really necessary? Because I read some articles about it and it's really complicated... it must be dry etc... washed often etc!

I think i could double distillate, it will be enought?

I would also be really interested if anyone have some tips for amazingstill or experience with it UserPostedImage

to finish, I bought the heater on amazingstill website, and it said it can heat 30-45°, but on the heater, there are numbers beetween 30 and 60 i think, that doesn't seems to really correspond to the real heat.. In addition, temperature up really, really slowly. My mash is fermenting, with 24 turbo prestige yeast since 24hours, I'm trying the heater in water as i wait for the mash to finish... I'have some hours left to find what is the best configuration for the heater. Maybe i'll put it at the max i fink...
It's a bit annoying as i read that a difference of only 5°C make many changes UserPostedImage

I'm a bit lost!
I don't want necessary a top quality wodka, I just want something taht taste good and doesn't make me too much work!§

Thank you very much!
