"It must have a DPDT relay in it. The rest is just simple relays, wires and basic on off switches- I had a great one that i used for mods on my motorcycles but i cant even remember its name much less where i got it from..

Not looking for solid state stuff, just basic.

Any tips???????? :)"

"Scotty,

Do you need just schematic capture or were you planning on doing layout & producing netlists, gerbers, etc?

If you're just doing schematics, you might want to look at TinyCAD ... it can export netlists & it's open source:

http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/tinycad

If you need more than that you could look at the gEDA suite ... it's open source as well, but it's a bit of a beast.

Yep.. Has pretty much anything you need for most things also. I used it playing around when I did my HVAC stuff. Has a little learning curve but isn't to bad.

You know I didn't do much on it and haven't used it for awhile.. I know you can go to "Diagram Symbols" >> "Basic Shapes" and then use the text label. You can then add your own labels next to the lines you want to mark.. Dunno if there is an easier way or not? Also after you label them there is the top menu that you should be able to change the size, color, etc to help point out your wires.
