I am new here and reading and learning a lot. I looked and couldn't find any thing about if it is necessary to remove a elect. heating element for cleaning a boiler after a run. What do most people do?

"for me I dont remove it after every run... maybe I should and check it but I dont really see the need. I can see inside and it still looks ok. When I'm done cooking I just jet my garden hose on it and that seems fine. Make a few runs and then take it out...then remove it after every run for several runs and see if you can see any difference."

I was just wondering because if it was necessary I would consider a boiler fitting like the hillbilly stills boiler for ease of taking it in and out.

I've only had it out a couple of times and don't know if I even needed to take it out

I gotcha, that system does work quite well, its just a few more items to buy when you in the manufactureing stage. It certainly does work though and I'm not trying to talk you out of the installation of it. The half coulpling female with the NPT thread welded on or the SS ferrel deal welded on ---- they both work. I have both setups."
