Quote:Captain---I'm almost done mounting my pids and meters on the clear panel. I still have to dab the items with silicone to hold them in place. CAPT, I INTEND TO MOUNT THAT SSVR SETUP ON THIS PLEXIGLASS SOMEWHERE TOO: IF IT DOES WHAT WE HOPE IT DOES. That clear Plexiglas is like a woman in a see thru dress lol.. Are you going to mount it to a frame or what are you planning?

Well I got good news, It works real nice I Tested it on a 5gal. metal bucket that I welded a 1" coupling to filled it with water that was 48*f and heated it up to175* in 25 min. It's working on 220v and then I turned it down to wherever I wanted by turning the knob... This shows it turned up all the way this is at 60% this shows 40% the amps start dropping fast in that 10% but its very easy to control and this is turned down all the way

Scotty, Don't get me started on the boats now, I could go on and on, you must be in boat heaven down there in Florida... I've owned and worked on many different boats from small skiffs to 400 passenger excursion vessels. Here's a link to our boat that me and my brothers built, we still own it and my one brother is running it down in Long Beach... http://www.grandromance.com/about-us.html Quote: THE 220 HOOKUP REQUIRES ONE WIRE TO EACH HOT LEG--- ILL BET YOU HOOKED UP ONE METER TERMINAL TO ONE HOT WIRE AND THE OTHER TERMINAL TO GROUND. Crabby, Yea this meter only has 2 wires to hook up so I guess I can only get it to read 120v but I know its on 220v and I don't need to change the volts just turn it down and read the amps, it will go all the way down to about off... I have $95.00 into it not including the 10/3 wire and plugs but I did put some things in there I didn't have to like the 30a switch, the lite and fan and that would nock off $40.00 so this can be made for not much more than a rsc and can be used on 220v or 110v... This will fix a lot of peoples control problems(thanks scotty) I just need to order my still so I can use it. lol.

when I first wired it up thats is what did I used the 2 hot wires and it didn't come on at all, I switched the one to the ground and it came on. It says it 110,220,240v but only has the 2 wires, they also say it's not available any more.... http://www.aliexpress.co...220V-240V/706449643.html
