"Originally i was avoiding giving my negative opinion on this. (((((However i have taken a very positive view of this book))) in view of the many posts i see about pitching temperature and yeast in genral. Also about the boiling points of diferent alcohols Gert has some very important statements on these subjects and will clarify some misconceptions.
I dont like the still design he promotes. It belongs in the dark ages. Gert uses the book as a commercial for his products but having looked past the product pushing, i found a tremendous amount of accurate and important information in the book. I purchased it from Rick years ago and just decided to re read it. I am searching my library because i have always had a serious problem accepting this equilibrium thing and am again searching without success for more information. Stacking components without serious boiler temp controll doesnt show me any advantage over very slow distilling."
