"hi guys this is a double whammy
1) what is the process to reuse mash? i know you just throw in more of what you used to begin but then do you let it ferment more? put more yeast in? etc
2) ive read about saving yeast and am still unclear about it. is there a way to harvest the yeast you used after racking a mash?
Thanks guys"

"I was wondering myself. I have done it when brewing beer and I have to imagine one could use the same process. Keep in mind that after its washed and stored you would need a starter to reativate the yeasties. Here is a video link. The only thing is its work. Why go through all this when you can add a packets of dry yeasy for small money. I'm starting a wash today with some Turbo 48. I may wash this stuff. http://billybrew.com/yeast-washingArchie"

AA you obviously have some experience with party guile brewing. Perhaps, when you find what you need in this thread, you could guide me a bit with a post in the beer section. :)

Archie Hi Archie, Thanks for posting those. I just watched both--very good. In the future if you just want to post the videos there is a tutorial in a sticky at the top of the video section. For these videos I think your link is better as the site they are on looks to provide some pretty good info. Thanks, Maddawgs
