Finally got to make my first vinegar/water run in my copper pot still. What should the inside of the pot look like? It did have some green spots in it i belevie were flux now there are a bunch of black and brownish steaks and what not in the pot and the cap. When i wipe the cap i get some brown and black crap on the papertowl. Is this normal or should i do something before i do a sac run of wine?

My copper is like that as well..the black crap is just sulphates and crap that the copper scrubs.
