"1st time using the carbon filtering system, 40mmx 1500mm tube, funnel 1 end coffee filters the other. Washed the carbon and left soak overnight. I understand I must flood the carbon with water and enter the likker into water to keep air out. My question is after I flush the last of the likker out - what do I do with the carbon? Remove it and store it in a closed contaner filled water, leave it in the tube, regen then store it in water filled contaner? Can't seem to find any info. Thanks,"

Thanks, Basically you can use the carbon for a very long time. After your filtering is done collect all of the carbon in a container. With about 3 inches of water over the top of the carbon boil it until it stops smelling like alcohol. Pour it off and boil it again for about 10 minutes. Then put it in a cake plate and put it in the oven at 350 degrees F for about 3 hours. Then you are done: use it the next time just like you did. I've been using some carbon for over 3 years."
