They are showing a possible solution== Nothing will happen unless both partys come out looking good.

That seems to be impossible since the democrats don't want to give up anything. It's all one sided and their only solution to balance the budget is to spend more money and raise the taxes. Kind of like their position on the 2nd Amendment they want to infringe and ask for compromise but would never give anything back. It's not a negotiation with them.
