"The top of my PSII HC is going to be at 100"" in the setup on my brew tree. Can anyone recommend a good wireless thermometer to bring the viewer down a bit? I am having Rick put on the the 3"" short tri-clamp ferrule but I'm not ready to do the full meal deal RTC until I get some runs under my belt.

Recommendations appreciated.

Prost,
Bod"

Hi Bod, Not wireless but these are what I use http://www.amazon.com/Po...ven-Thermometer-Graphite The cord is long enough to bring the monitor down to eye level.

These are the ones I have 2 of
http://www.amazon.com/Ca...ds=wireless+thermometers

I think that the probe was still not long enough for my tower and I had to rig something to mount the sending unit but-- They worked well though
Pictures to follow soon

A comment on installing the tri clamp at the top. I have a 1 foot extension for my tower. I have a sensor for my PID mounted into the 1 foot extension and it is connected to the boiler and my still tower. I have often wished I had that adapter at the top so I could experiment with a different style of cooling coil mounted at the top of the tower. The coil would drop into the 1 foot extension and not be a permanent part of it. .
