"Since I like making triple distilled Irish style whiskey, will 2 thumpers in series with my pot rig accomplish this??? I'm tempted to get a couple of gallon mason jars and take the hack saw to the liebig condenser and install the thumpers in the line.
I really don't like re distilling."

"Scotty,

Take a look at some sanitary fittings that you can attach to the lower section of your column (or directly to the sanitary fitting on your boiler). There are also a variety of ferrules that you might be able to work with. I also saw a thread somewhere (on another forum) that described a hand-made copper ferrule for a sanitary fitting. You might be able to glomb something together without having to hack through stainless steel.:)

Hi Scotty, no need to hack the condenser, just mount a piece of copper pipe to the end of it with a compression fitting and run it to your thumpers. No cooling water is needed to the condenser on th BH still just after the thumpers.

My old still has a thumper and I love it. Having two would be awesome. I've seen a design where the jars sat side besides and the vapor went from one to the other with less space taken up. My condenser is right after the thumper. It's a pot still only.

Yes pot still only. I have seen that design but that mfg has a very bad rep. Ill ask rick to make something and have it welded or clamped into my brewhaus pot still"

This is why I building a new still. I quit using the old one for now and when I can make the proper corrections I might use it again. I'm going with a 15.5 gal keg and I'll have Rick put two 3" fittings in a top of his premium 8 gal pot with a tube on one of them that goes to the bottom. This will be my thumper when I want to use it. it'll be sized correctly too but it'll only be a single thumper.
