Yeast with AG (Amyloglucosidase) is a yeast to use with a all grain mash and is suppose to have some of the nutrients the grain is lacking... Captinjack

Actually, rehydrating a turbo yeast will kill the yeast, as some of the nutrients that the yeast needs are toxic to it in high concentration.

Are the whiskey and vodka yeast with AG that you sell at BH considered a turbo yeast?

The vodka yeast, but the whisky yeast is not (no whisky yeast actually should need to include nutrients).

I'm using the prestige whisky w/ ag in a sweet feed. I plan on setting back on the grain and adding sugar. How many 6 gal cycles should I get w/ the one initial yeast packet?
