Hi guys, just wondering what the grain bill for Rolling Acres Sweet Feed is. It is available at TSC for a pretty decent price. I have looked online for a list of ingredients, but can't find anything except nutritional info. Are there any additives? All I have found is that it is made by Masterfeeds, whose website has even less info than TSC does.

"On the bottom of the bag of feed, there is a white label sewn into the bottom seam, much like a label you see on a pillow - that label has the ingredients, crude fiber, protiens, etc. If there isn't a label, they have to print it on the bag somewhere. It's law here in Texas and was also so up in Kansas, and Nebraska... I take it you are referring to: http://www.tscstores.com...ET-HORSE-FEED-P8390.aspx TSC doesn't sell an all grain SF in Texas, so I use ""Country Acres"" (aka purina Omlene 300 under a different name) - all-grain sweet feed (Light purple outline on the bag) for my SF washes. I don't get it from TSC,I get it from a local feed store. I stay away from the pelleted crap since it has additives (or so I was misunderstanding somewhere). What I'm using is running about 18 USD per 50 lb bag. It has that little label and specifies only barley, corn, and molasses. It looks like this and has no pellets; " RCRed attached the following image(s): all_grain_sweet_feed_960.jpg (50kb) downloaded 1 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Just remember to get All Grain and that it contains absolutely no Alfalfa! I actually did get All Grain Sweet Feed with Alfalfa once, Nasty. Round my parts it has become very common in the last couple years. I have no doubts as to why, either. The internet is a source of freedom.
