I did not know that you have to keep it at a cpecific temp all I did was put a soldering tourch at the bottem of my still is this going to be a problem it smelled like alochol

I am just reading that you can go blind from makeing it at to high of a temp is this true or just a scare

Dude. I'm not being rude. We all have to learn in the beginning. I'm being simply cautious for your benefit. Stop distilling. Do not drink your product yet. Go to this site http://homedistiller.org/ and read all you can take in, take a break and read some more. Do this until you can absorb or stand it no more. Get a good idea of the process and a plan together. Start it and come back here for specific advice as you need it in addition to the information that can be answered there.

lol I have read their foarm I have spent hours of thinking of my design I know my still works I just need to know how high you can get it befor it turns

lol. OK, Go to that site and click the box labeled 'distilling'. You don't even have to worry with the drop down menu that comes from it, just click 'distilling'. Your answer is at the top of the page with more detailed info below.

I'm new to this forum and this really shouldn't be my first post but '...at 212 it turns to water' left spit all over my screen. I almost can't type for laughing.
