"Hi: I am new to the forum and to spirit distillation. Started two 25 litre batches. 8 kg sugar topped with water to 25 litres, added 48 turbo yeast. Used instruction on yeast package. One fermented in 8 days to a sg of 1. The second pail never started to ferment. Handled both the same way, temperature exactly the same. It is now day 10 and nothing happening with second pail. I used distilled water. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you CGT"
