having a hard time finding material locally any ideas on where to look??
esp for 22 gauge 20 ounce copper sheet 3x3 ft
and them tiny ass rivets lol
thanks in advance
I would rather not get sodomized paying for shipping prices unless I absolutely have too
is it feasible to save money building my own or should I just order on the HAUS instead
total rookie but mechanically able"

you'd probably come out cheaper buying one that has both reflux and pot mode with a heating element. then you get the best of both worlds

"I built my own mild reflux column once. It was 3'x2"" copper. Ended up being a pretty penny from what I remember. I want to say ~$200 but that seems like so much. Maybe $150. Either way after it was all said and done and put together I still ordered a PSII from the 'haus. It's a damn good still at a reasonable rate that runs right out of the box. I know how the urge to build from scratch is though... I had fun and learned a lot but the 'haus still is premium.
Oh yeah, I got my pipe at a plumbing supplier. I had to call around town to a few different places to find 2"" copper pipe. Seems obvious but I hope this helps a bit."
