Welcome jojo1, it is more than just fun. It is educational. When I first started I thought I would do 5 or 6 batches a year. Now I have at least one wash/mash going at all times. the three most important words for a new hobbyist. READ, READ, READ.

Welcome! Read,Read,Read is probably an understatement  But, I can tell you, if ya can think about about it, someone else has tried and posted about it somewhere, and a fella can learn alot from that!! It's helps immensely to relieve frustration and wasted materials. When I first got my rig, I spent about 6 months just reading and gearing up. That was just my choice and way, but I have a lot of fun with this and it's scientific to boot Enjoy! |
