"Hey everyone, i'm new here.
I've been a long time home brewer and figured this was the next logical progression of my hobby. I've been working as a brewer for a while now as well, the shop i work for sells Brewhaus products and i love the quality of the products that we order - so i set myself up with a PSII and a half barrel keg. I've got a Blichmann Floor Burner that i use for brewing, so that should be a good heat source, as i can keep the heat nice and low.
Anyway, i'm sure i'll have a million questions - most of them will seem pretty dumb, as i am a total newb to this. Bare with me, and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
Matt"

Welcome Dr. If you look at other introductions the most common advice is "read". If you can't find an answer then ask away. Good to see another New Englander here.

Greetings! The Blichmann is fantastic for the larger kettle. The hot plate as delivered will not drive it as well as that Blichmann. Best thing I bought on the gear trail for my PSII HC w/half keg. It's fine increments are great for miniscule adjustments to keep balance. Enjoy the craft! |
