"Greetings from MO Ozarks.Lovely day here in the Ozarks. I think state laws allows for distillation of alcohol only enough for personal consumption, seems like I saw an amount per year listed but am not sure. If anyone knows anything different, can you post?
Have been learning from the posts. Look forward to learning more.

Welcome Missouri Dreamer, I believe I read that the amount of wash/mash a person can make is the same as for beer or wine. 100 gals for one person/household or two hundred for two or more persons. There are a lot of variables so each wash/mash will produce a different amount of ethanol so you get what you can get from the legal volume of mash. Traveled to MO and the Ozarks as a kid with the family. Absolutely beautiful.
Read, Have fun, Be safe.

From Missouri State statutes and restated on Wiki.Manufacturing[edit]

Missourians over the age of 21 may manufacture up to 100 gallons per person each year of any alcoholic beverage for personal use, without further limitation, without taxation, and without any license.[23] It should be noted, though, that for production of distilled alcohol (i.e. not beer or wine) for personal use, it probably still is necessary for the private citizen to obtain a permit from the Federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau and meet other requirements under federal law.[24][25][26][27][28]
Besides that, however, the only alcohol which is illegal for sale or possession in Missouri is that which has been manufactured without a license and/or that on which the required taxes have not been paid.[29]

From Missouri statutes site:Missouri Revised Statutes

Chapter 311
Liquor Control Law
Section 311.055

August 28, 2012

License to manufacture not required, personal or family use--limitation.
311.055. No person at least twenty-one years of age shall be required to obtain a license to manufacture intoxicating liquor, as defined in section 311.020, for personal or family use. The aggregate amount of intoxicating liquor manufactured per household shall not exceed two hundred gallons per calendar year if there are two or more persons over the age of twenty-one years in such household, or one hundred gallons per calendar year if there is only one person over the age of twenty-one years in such household.
